Kicking Off 2025 with a Bang: A Field Hockey Frenzy

As the calendar flipped to 2025, the energy and excitement for field hockey soared to new heights! We're thrilled to share how this year has started off with a whirlwind of activities designed to develop skills, build strength, and foster passion for the game across all age groups.

Winter Stick Training in Cranford   Our youngest athletes, from 1st through 6th grades, have been hard at work sharpening their stick skills at our Winter Stick Training sessions in Cranford. These sessions are not just about mastering the basics; they're about laying a strong foundation for technique, teamwork, and game IQ. Watching these young players evolve into more confident competitors has been nothing short of inspiring.

Agility and Cardio Training at The Academy   Meanwhile, our 7th and 8th graders have been stepping up their game with agility and cardio-focused training at The Academy in Garwood. Through carefully curated drills and exercises, these athletes are enhancing their speed, endurance, and overall athletic performance. Their hard work and dedication are already showing on the field, proving that effort truly does pay off.

Rising Heat 7v7 Tournament at FDU   A highlight of the season so far has been the Rising Heat 7v7 Field Hockey Tournament hosted at Fairleigh Dickinson University. This competitive event brought together players from various teams, creating an electrifying atmosphere filled with intense games and remarkable displays of sportsmanship. Our teams triumphed in the U12 and U14 brackets, proudly bringing home championship titles—a testament to their skill, effort, and teamwork!

Spring Training Begins   With spring just around the corner, we're gearing up for another exciting chapter. Our Spring Training program is set to start soon, and we couldn't be more excited to see our players back on the field. This training will focus on refining skills and preparing athletes for the challenges ahead, ensuring they're ready to tackle every game with confidence and determination.
